Service Description

Relax, unwind and get grounded in the beautiful Tweed Hinterland. Located just 5 minutes from the beautiful riverside town of Tumbulgum ( or 20 mins inland from Kingscliff). In this workshop I will guide you through the simple techniques used to create your very own homewares on the potters wheel. You will learn to trim your pots, add handles and even learn to glaze your pieces in glaze colors of your choosing. Things you will learn: Centering your clay on the wheel Creating different vessel shapes Trimming your pieces Adding handles Decorative carving of your pieces letting go, having fun and making friends All clay, glaze and firings are included in this workshop. Any sessions you miss due to any unforeseen circumstances I do my best to help you catch up when possible.


Cancellation Policy

Sorry no refunds on any workshops are available however should you be unable to attend your hand building workshop a credit will be given for the full amount so you are able to reschedule. Due to the limited spots available for the wheel classes unfortunately I am unable to offer a refund or reschedule, if you are able to provide enough notice I will do my best to reschedule your class if possible. There is no rush for pick up once your pottery is fired, I am happy to keep it for an extended period of time (usually 12 months) if your unable to collect I am happy to organise postage for you at your expense.
